The Investigation Committee reviews and screens complaints made to the College about its regarding professional misconduct, incapacity and incompetence.
When an investigation is completed, a panel of the Investigation Committee, made up of Ontario Certified Teachers in good standing and members of the public, evaluates the information that has been gathered. Only the Investigation panel and College staff are present for this review — the member, the public complainant and the reporting employer do not attend.
